Let's eat! A book about delicious colors

Written and photographed by Faith Gowan.
A photo shows a big pile of fruits, including grapes, cherries, oranges, pears, and a pineapple.
Let's make a fruit salad. We have some red cherries. A photo of cherries with stems.
We have an orange. It's orange. I wonder why it's called an orange? An orange, cut open to show the sections inside.
We have a pineapple. It's yellow inside. A pineapple cut across the middle shows the yellow inside.
We have a green pear. A green pear with a stem.
We have some blue blueberries. A container holds several blueberries.
We have a bunch of purple grapes. A bunch of purple grapes.
We have a coconut. It's brown on the outside. And white on the inside. The coconut is cracked open. The brown outside is fuzzy, while the inside is smooth and white.
What can we do with the big, black bowl? The shiny black bowl is empty!
We'll put the red cherries, the orange orange, the yellow pineapple, the green pear, the blue blueberries, the purple grapes, and the brown and white coconut, into the big, black bowl. A picture of each fruit is shown next to its name.
Yum! Let's eat!
